Join us for the inaugural Vietnam Era Veteran Welcome Home and Pinning Ceremony in Montrose, a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifices of our Vietnam Era Veterans. This ceremony, taking place for the first time in Montrose, aims to provide the recognition and gratitude that many of these veterans did not receive upon their return home. The Vietnam War Commemoration is a national initiative that seeks to honor and thank our Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifices on behalf of the Nation.

The Vietnam War era, which spanned from November 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, was a challenging period in American history. Veterans who served during this time often faced significant difficulties when they returned, including a lack of public support, tough reintegration into civilian life, and the lingering effects of their service.
